Mixter Maxter Mixed Instrument Workshop

A day of mixed instrument workshops where the group will learn some tunes and collaborate to arrange them in an interesting and attractive way. Suitable for most instruments, but if you play smallpipes, for example, you should have another more versatile instrument as well. The day will also feature a recording of the pieces worked on and a late-afternoon session (at the venue) to finish off the day. The price includes lunch.

Mixter Maxter 4 will be on Sunday 16th November 2014, at Nomad Beat, Peebles (see map). If anyone is travelling by public transport (No 62 bus from Edinburgh or Galashiels), George Davidson has offered to pick them up at the bus stop at the Post Office. You must telephone him in advance at 01896 830419 to arrange this.

Unfortunately, Mixter Maxter 4 is now full up. I will be organising another one in the Spring of 2015.

Music is available beforehand in the shape of downloadable PDF documents and soundfiles - see below. If you require notation in any particular format (e.g. whistle, tablature, cello, fiddle fingering, etc), let me know before the event (email me).
