I used to play this old-time tune with my old-time band Clutching At Straws, and I learnt it as The Seneca Square Dance. Later I heard Aly Bain and others playing it under the title Waiting for the Federals. A simpler version (which can be seen here) is featured in the film "The Long Riders" - I suspect that's where the "Federals" title comes from.
