Scottish Slow Session 1

The Scottish Slow Session Vol.1

THIS BOOK IS for people learning an instrument who want to start playing in sessions. Sessions can be confusing and seemingly hostile environments, and it's partly for those reasons that "slow sessions" exist: to create a friendly, inclusive space for the enjoyment of playing music with others. I'm passionate about introducing people to the joys of playing music, but if you're not lucky enough to have a more experienced musician willing to lead your session, you're going to have to organise things for yourselves. These books, and additional material on my website, aim to help.

Also available as an eBook (digital download, PDF format).
