Tunebook
I attend a session at the White Lion in St Albans, all too infrequently these days, but the good folks there have produced a tunebook which I can share.
You will find it here: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/89382536/tunebook.pdf
Hope you find it of use........

Tosh, great collection! Have also noted you have posted the info on the Cafe site. Thanks for this super resource and I have many new tunes now to try out.

RE: Tunebook
Not sure of the ethics/ copyright situation here - these are mostly trad tunes, but some are from known (living) composers (plus one or two sadly no longer with us), but none are acknowledged though... Some of the tunes are in copyright, I'd think, so not sure if it's good practice to distribute them like this. Any views on what's acceptable here?

RE: Tunebook
I would guess that most of the tunes are copied from TheSession, with all its accompanying inadequacies. That site is designed so you *can't* say who the composer is.

The bizarre tune categories are also a holdover from TheSession. "Lord Mayo" is a polka, we are treated to the rather astonishing discovery that Carolan wrote waltzes, and "Flowers of Edinburgh" is classed as a "barndance" whatever the heck that might be.

And they've killed off Mrs Macleod's husband, dropped her a tone and put her in there backwards.
