Daytime adult and junior Traditional Fiddle Workshops in the Memorial Hall, Strachur (Cowal, Argyll) Saturday 2 June 2012 with tutors Amy Geddes, Fiona Dalgetty, Mike Vass and Rona Wilkie.

Classes followed by Country Walks and BBQ, then an evening Recital and Family Ceilidh featuring the Tutors and Friends, local performers (pipers. dancers, singers) and workshop participants - all welcome!

Doon the Watter Folk Club ( a mainly singaround sessuion) takes place in Whistlefield Inn, Loch Eck, on the first Friday of each month - i.e. the eve of the Fiddle Wotkshop in Strachur (6 miles away) The inn has several room (plus outside if weather is clement / no midgies out!) for alternatibve sessions e.g. instrumental- - -and has rooms to let plus a bunkhouse (best book ahead though) as well as space for a couple of camper vans http://wwww.whistlefieldinn.co.uk 01369-860-440
