Music TOW#45: The Gathering Waltz
The Gathering Waltz

This is a recent composition of mine to celebrate the first get-together in Crieff of lots of learner musicians. The Gathering takes place on the 19th May 2012 (further details).

The G natural really adds something to this tune, Nigel. It's a fine composition and a good choice for TOW.

I wasn't too sure about this tune but it does grow on you (Gathering moss, I suppose Smile ) after you play it a few times.

The tune would probably work well for a "St Bernard's". Pass the brandy, please!

Yes but the G natural combined with the high G sharp seems likely to pose a problem for moothie players. A quick switch between the A and the Highlander may be called for ...
