John McGann R.I.P.
I've just been informed that ace American mandolinist John McGann has died - quite a shock.

I too was shocked by this Nigel, I always valued John McGann's opinions on matters mandolin. A sad loss indeed, great player, educator and contributer to the Cafe. I'll miss his words of wisdom. Sincere condolences to his Family, Students and Friends........
