Tune of the Week?
Should it be Tune of the Week?
Or Tune of the Fortnight?
Or Tune of the Month?

What do you think?

RE: Tune of the Week?
I'd try fortnightly, perhaps, Nigel. Even when we do not actively respond or offer versions of the tune it is still a valuable resource and I for one have enjoyed adding the new tunes to my collection. Tosh and I both seem to enjoy posting versions of them and many others surely also enjoy the tunes even if there are not always recorded offerings submitted.
Whatever the decision, thanks again for making the tunes available to us.

RE: Tune of the Week?
I'd leave it as it is as we all know what it's about Nigel, but like John says it doesn't matter whether it is fortnightly or longer due to commitments, it is a valuable resource. John & Myself really appreciate it and the work you do in providing it. It's not always easy to do a tune at the Cafe and this is a great alternative. I'm just surprised that more people don't use it and post. As John has said, thanks for all you do Nigel, it's time consuming and requires commitment to provide a service like this and we appreciate it very much.

RE: Tune of the Week?
I visit the Tune of the Week every time a post is made.
I read, I listen to the audio stuff and watch the videos - all appreciatively. I sometimes print the tunes and give them a tryout.
I think the contributors seem like a nice crowd and are entertaining and supportive.
When the space between new tunes is too long, I miss them and look forward to the next one. If the posts are too frequent I skim them. Seldom, if ever, will I make any comment and I am very unlikely to be brave enough to submit a recording of my playing.
I guess that most of you viewers (like the majority of visitors to this site and other like it) are in a similar position.
Occasionally some of us stir ourselves and contrbute in a small way to the debate.
My vote is for weekly - it seems about right to me and keeps me coming back for more.
Long live Nigel's Tune of the Week!
