Here's a version by Helen and Amy...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AwP0RT-QViQ The Sarah Morgan one herself appears to have been a member of English group "Hen Party". http://www.focsle.org.uk/SCoFF/henparty/index.htm I'm sure TB will be au fait with their work as she's done "singy" things for the local TMSA. “Don’t believe everything you read on the internet just because there’s a picture with a quote next to it.”

RE: Keep you in Peas....
Very much familiar with the fabulous work of Craig Morgan and Robson, whom I first saw at a singing workshop arranged by Penicuik Folk Club: on the strength of that, we went on to book them for the Singers' Gathering in 2009 (Edinburgh & Lothians TMSA + West Lothian Arts Services) where they did a grand Muckle Sing and concert: and they have since been back to Penicuik and to Sangstream. "Keep you in Peace" (not PEAS!) is now quite widely sung and has been suggested for this term's SMG daytime Stramash - for both players and singers.
And I chose their recording of "Crossing the Bar" for my Dad's funeral in January. (Tennyson's last poem, full of nautical imagery, my Dad having been in the Royal Navy). |
