Learn Scottish Fiddle in Spain
How would you like to learn Scottish fiddle while basking in the warm sunshine of the Valencian highlands? Well now you can.. A fantastic opportunity to learn Scottish fiddle from Gregor Borland - one of the finest exponents of traditional Scots fiddle around.

Since 2006 Gregor Borland has lived in Agost, Spain, and right from the moment he arrived he set about putting his idea for a fiddle camp there into action. So far the fiddle camps have taken place in various locations throughout the Valencian region, offering participants a chance to be immersed in Spanish culture and to get a good sense of "Spanishness" whilst learning intensive Scottish fiddle... This has been achieved with great success!

Greg has just had a cancellation on his Scottish fiddle week in Spain 20-27 September which he's really keen to fill! See www.fiddle-in-spain.webs.com for a general description, and contact him for details. VERY affordable, beautiful surroundings, brilliant teacher, great company, good Spanish wine... can't ask for much more than that.

[Nigel here - as well as being a fabtastic fiddler, Greg is a really nice bloke. I have talked to him in the past about having a mandolin camp at his place in Spain, and it's maybe an idea I can revive before too long. But if you're a fiddler - what's stopping you?]
