Sounds a good idea: as you say there are loads of tunes in the books that rarely get played.
I hope I may get along for one of my rare attendances.
Might I also suggest playing "The Wild Rose of the Mountain" in tribute to John Mason who wrote this very lovely tune. John was for many years conductor of the Scottish Fiddle Orchestra and passed away a few days ago. Stan Reeves came to Cafe Ceilidh at the Scottish Story-telling Centre and we played it there (in amongst all the Burns songs.)
