Rally Mandolins
People often ask me for recommendations when they're looking for a mandolin. I thought I'd mention that I tried a mandolin the other day, and I was impressed. It's a new make to me - Rally - but it felt good, and more importantly it sounded good. Rally Gypsy "a" style, £199.00 (in Scayles music shop. Edinburgh).

RE: Rally Mandolins
The wife has one of their bikes - or maybe its a Raleigh? Sounds like a bargain. You can't get much for £200 nowadays; I paid more that that for my last case.

RE: Rally Mandolins
I picked up one of these Rally Gypsy-A mandolins recently. Very nice for the money, and good sound and decent playability, but I'll probably move it on as it sounds too similar to what I already have.
