Slow Session 11th March
Although I'm going to go to the class beforehand, I think I will excuse myself from going to Bennett's Bar after. I hope my absence doesn't deter people from going along, and hopefully there will plenty of suggestions for what to play. Shout them out if they're in any of the books!

RE: Slow Session 11th March
Well, we never did get round to playing "Devil in the Kitchen" last week, so we could float that again this week and see if there are any takers.
Then there is Willie's excellent tune "Eilleen Anne's Waltz". Willie handed out a few CDs containing it last week. It's quite easy to learn, and I think Willie also had music for it, though I am not sure.
My own preference though would be for the Calum Beg & Shetland Fiddler set on pages 8 & 9 of Joy of Sets Book 2.
We will miss you though Nigel, and we'll be thinking of you, but we'll soldier on and try to keep the tempo down to what you would approve of ...
Alistair.

Sounds good to me. Do you want to include any others from Set 2.5 as well, e.g. Da Ferry Reel & Lay Dee at Dee?
