The Slow Session in January 09
Quote:[alistair said]...One idea might be to move the slow session to Thursdays just in January, when at least two venues would seem to be available (Argyle Bar and Meadow Bar). The go back to Wednesdays when Bennet's becomes available again.

Speaking personally, when 9 o'clock on Thursday comes, I have only one thought in mind: home.

Anyway, what are we really talking about here? We go back on Wed 14th, so there's only that week we can't use Bennett's (we'll be back there on the 21st). So you're talking about two weeks at the most, assuming that enough folk will want to turn out on the 8th. However, I'll support whatever you decide to do.

OK Nigel I did not realise. I had a feeling that in previous years we did not get back to Bennet's till the beginning of February. So you're right: it would not be worth moving to Thursday just for one week. On the other hand if someone was keen to organise a session on Thursday 15th, the opportunity is there.
