All

thank you for all the useful information given, I am struggling with taking it in but at least it is here on the Forum so I can refer back to it. Again it is not a tune I have heard before and searching the internet I could not find it anywhere. I did play it with MuseScore, which gives you a flavour but is pretty basic playback. I will just need to do a Nigel on it, and take it slowly, bar by bar. Hopefully I will be able to play it through thanks to all of you again.

I just created a MIDI from the ABC I did above, and realized I'd left out a chord change.  Fixed now.

The MIDI would have been attached but the forum software won't let me - I guess that's not a permitted file type. You can create it yourself using the converter on mandolintab.net. Or I could make an MP3 but it would take me half an hour and the file would be 100 times the size while conveying no additional information.

Trying to add an MP3... nope.  Response saying that file type isn't allowed.  It seems there is no way I can add any audio file.

I too could not find a way to get an mp3 on to the forum, Jack.  Last time I tried was with the collaboration I did with Trish Last year - one of your least favourite tunes, if I remember! Cool

"Ashokan Farewell", perhaps, or another one... ? Smile

Realized I hadn't fixed the PDF I uploaded - that's corrected now.
