I have had a request for this tune, so I thought it would be a good Tune of the Week. I notated it years ago from a Mick Moloney album, where it was called Reel on Mandolin. I have since found out that it goes under many names, including Jim Kelly's, Dickie Sherlock's and The Night In Ennis. Moloney is a fantastic mandolin player, tenor banjo player and singer; Irish, but has lived in the US for many years now. I recorded it using an older mandolin (a Kai Tonjes) which is suffering a little from neglect.
