Because there are no classes at Boroughmuir next Wednesday, the Borough Slow Session is starting earlier, at 8pm. To give people not used to sessions an idea, we're going to play the following sets. Apart from the linked titles, they're all from the SMG Session Book 2.

Memories of Father Angus MacDonald/Calum's Road
Da Full Rigged Ship
Wha Wadna Fecht for Charlie/Campbell's Farewell to Redcastle/Barren Rocks of Aden
Farewell to Whisky
Oliver Jack/St Anne's Reel
The Lad Wi' the Plaidie
Egan's Polka/Denis Murphy's Polka
Ashokan Farewell
Uist Dance/Rachel Rae
The 50p Table/My Darling Asleep/Miss Campbell of Shinness
The Star of the County Down
Donald Blue/Da Peerie Hoose Ahint da Burn
East Parkside
The Underwater Gardener/The Johnstown Reel
My Home Town
Flowers of Edinburgh/Lady Mackenzie of Coull
The Iron Man/Orange and Blue
Harvest Home/Off to California/Boys of Blue Hill
The Hills of Glenorchy/Price of a Pig
The Wind That Shakes the Barley/Islay Rant
That's great Nigel. I seem to have lost my copy of session book 2, but will try to get a replacement before next Wednesday.
I think I also left a black ring binder labelled "SMG Classes" or something like that in the slow session class room at Boroughmuir last Wednesday. I have contacted the school and so far it has not turned up there. Just wondered if anyone might have seen it or picked it up. The contents are not irreplaceable, but I would be very pleased to get it back.
Alistair.

Just heard from Ros that my black ring binder is in the tutor box. (I could have picked it up Tuesday evening at Boroughmuir.) Many thanks to whoever handed it in. I'll maybe go round to Boroughmuir for it Thursday evening.
