Is the Borough Hotel slow session restarting this coming Wednesday after the festive break?
Thanks.
Well, I intend going along, so there may just be the two of us...

See you there, snow willing.
I'm planning to be there as well.
Roads in Edinburgh are almost clear now, though some pavements still slippery.
Alistair.
AAARRRGGHH! It was snowing again tonight up in them thar Pentland Hills, but I might well swell the numbers to 4, weather permitting!
I will probably come along, unless it rains frogs or something.

So far that's mandolin/whistle, mandolin, recorders, melodeon/bodhran/guitar, yes? Trish, do you have all your arms back?
Great though I'm sure there will be more people.
It would be good to play a really simple but catchy hornpipe called "Navvie on the Line" which I learned from a CD I got for Christmas.
The "abc" (found at http://trillian.mit.edu/~jc/cgi/abc/tunefind ) is appended, and a PDF attached.

Thanks for this - have just had a quick twang and it sounds nice. Let's give it a go tonight.

On the offchance, do you know of a web link for Eilidh Steel's Cammy's tune? Only I heard in a set with The Youngest Ancient Mariner and the two tunes really combine well.

All I could find Eric is a YouTube clip ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mtBM3iY_5_Q ) which I guess is not quite what you are looking for ...

Though we have had a digeridoo at the Kirkliston session I think this is even further off the beaten track! I'm sure I'll be able to get a copy, but just thought you might know of an immediate route in. Thanks anyway.
